Dodge Travco Motorhome project

I have no connection to or involvement in this RV. I ran across it on CL.
It's in Lancaster PA. I think they are neat old rigs.

  • Thanks, I got a chuckle out of some of the details. Never heard of a 4 cylinder alternator before, or a double bowel sink. :)

This is the MH my father should have bought, instead of the graceless-exterior Winnebago! Ahh, the memories.

On a Generator The "Generator" part is actually an "Alternator"
  • There's nothing like a good project to keep the creative juices flowing! Lol.

Sounds like a good candidate for restoration. Mechanically seems to be up to snuff. The great thing about those old coaches is they are pretty easy to work on.
  • While it will not leak water and dissolve like so many old coaches, they do have a steel frame that can rust out. If you go to look at, take a hammer.
