A dome for 1200 does not seem like a good deal when you can get a traveler installed for 1900 or so....300 or 400 perhaps worth it if you don't want to pop for a good one.
Take a walk around any big dealers bone yard and you will find loads of domes just sitting there that were removed in favor of superior technology.
If it doesn't have 3 LNB's you will have problems trying to use a lot of the better DVR receivers since a single LNB can only get one satellite.....or so it was explained to me.
If you have a dome that works, that's one thing but if you're going to buy one than newer tech might be better for you.
