King Dome Satellite

More information please.
Sat provider? Model of receiver? Receiver settings?

Had much the same problem tech support not much help other than buying a new board. Finally threw it off the roof. Good luck.

if its a 06-07-08-09 era kingdom its not good for anything but SD direct 101
seeing as hes trying to get 101 hes got a direct and a direct receiver
assuming its programed normally you can put in the sat requirements via the control panel or at least on the one I had that whats I did
Note to OP can you hear the Dish motor when you try and switch or is it quite??

There's not too much trouble shooting to be done on that dome, so I'm not sure what you've done. That said:

1. Turn off unit. Wait at least 20 seconds then turn back on.
2. Push switch and listen for the dish to start spinning.
3. Turn on TV and log in to Direct with satellite setup.
4. Press MENU, SETUP,SATELLITE, SATELLITE SIGNAL STRENGTH.
5. Listen for the dish to try locking onto a satellite.
6. Once the dish locks onto a sat. if it's not the correct one, press the switch again for less than two seconds and release. Dish will move on to the next sat. and lock. If still not correct, repeat until it locks into 110. BOL...Dennis

hes says hes looking for 101 not 110 >???

Yes direct tv, kingdom is 08
Dish is rotating & locks onto sat 119 with a very strong signal have tried using trouble shooting to advance to 101 sat. control panel shows it is locked on 101 but it is actually locked on 119

sounds like it needs to be reprogramed as its out of phase I threw mine away because I wanted HD TV

Be sure you have the receiver set to some other channels than the Networks. Food Network or CNN but not ABC, CBS, etc.
If you just took this receiver out or your home and moved it to your RV this could be an issue as well. Let us know.

That sounds like my vintage of King dome. I know when ever I have alignment issues, I have go thru the whole alignment procedure which you can find on line. Good luck....

Mine was a 2013 and just quit working. It simply would not re-program after spending hours with tech support. Fortunately it was light weight so I could throw it far enough off the roof to reach the yard.
