dome 100.5 Dish network only.
Domes can work with a SINGLE Dish receiver, (Or not depending on the make and model of the dome) but if you have more than one receiver or a dual-input DVR you won't be happy.
Plus, Rooftop mounts have a serious issue with "The Evil Signal Eating Tree" So what you do is carry a dish on a tripod, and put an A/B switch in the LNB lead.. A to the Dome up A-bove and B to a connector in the Basement down B-Elow for the ground dish
If parked under said tree, hook up ground dish, slide switch to "B", aim and check switch.
When you are ready to live, Slide to A, unhook and stow ground dish (You can modify it so it folds up if you like, I did) and when in the clear and locked on a bird check switch.
That simple.
NOTE: some domes work with one sat, some 2, some 3 (Under receiver control) DIsh currently used 3.
DirecTV works well with most domes (one bird) direcHDTV does not work at all with domes.
