We have a Dome and Direct TV. I can almost never get the darn thing to work and end up setting up our tripod dish. In all honesty we are almost always in State and Corp parks so the tree thing is a huge problem. For us the more remote the more we like it. If you favor parks with wide open treeless sites you will love the Dome.
