Yes, it is easy. I just used a brush, ran it through the burner tube and cleaned it out. A bunch of scale came out. Then I put it back together and worked. I was out in the middle of no where and didn't have a proper burner cleaning brush, so I used an old toothbrush that I zip tied to a screw driver to make the handle longer so I could reach in there. You can buy an actual brush designed just for this though, I think I saw them at Camping World.
