The fridge seems to work correctly on both gas or electric. Here's my question, the temp on the eyebrow says the fridge is at 33 deg. but the thermometers in the fridge read 40 and freezer reads 3 deg...

If you want to check the accuracy of your thermometer, fill a glass with crushed ice and water then put your thermometer in it. If it is calibrated correctly, it will read exactly 32 degrees. This is the temperature that water freezes and ice melts, plus or minus latent heat that the thermometer can't read.
