door frozen shut

We had to stay home this winter, we're usually in Florida by now. Our mh is in the driveway. On the really cold, single digit days, the door was frozen shut. The lock is working ok, it's the the door itself that can't be opened.
It finally warmed up, but that will only last until this afternoon.

Any ideas on what we can apply to keep the door from freezing shut? We're not inside the mh, otherwise the heat would keep it from freezing ( I'm assuming).
Thanks for any help.
  • I used to use hot water from the tap and then just wipe up the resulting water. I have in the past used Armorall on the seals, it is primarily silicone and does not hurt the rubber.

My truck doors used to freeze up all the time - I just squirted de-ice around the seals...
  • Maybe clean the door seals(rubber surrounding) with windshield fluid rated for like -20
