DP Coach Diagram

Hi all...
Well, we pulled the trigger as they say on this new to us beauty of a coach. Thing is, I'm so overwhelmed by going from Gas to Diesel, that I'm more full of questions than answers. I do have manuals and have collected tons of links to websites, but no time to spend the hours required at present, with finding this and that to do and trying to get moved in, at the same time.
Sooooooo, here's lies the question and if any of you, might have access to a diagram for the basic workings of a DP. For instance, I have a little hydraulic pump with two lines in one compartment and guessing it's for the compressor, as there is an air fitting in there, as well. If, so where might the compressor be and yes, I will see some of this when I don my rags and get down under to do some greasing and such, but not quite ready for that one yet.
OK, before I become winded here, just one more thing and if any of you here have the same or like coach, I'd like hearing from you in a PM as well.

You're 3 slides are electric. The hydraulic pump is for your 4 levelers, also where to add fluid if needed. Air chuck is for hose to air tires. Air compressor on cat engine.

Sent you a PM and since you have the same coach.

You should be able to get some documentation from your chassis maker. There remainder from your coach maker or component manufacturer.

Think of what came on a bare chassis-- that is where the chassis maker can help. All else designed and assembled by the coach maker.

Luckily, quite a lot is now available on-line.

Yeah and really need to get into my Spartan manual, as soon as I get the chance.
Wasn't really sure who did a lot of this and whether Spartan or Fleetwood.

  • Have you tried going to a owner's forum? With so many like owners you'd probably get lots of help.
  • Can't say what you have but my hydraulic pump is for the leveling system and one of the slides (the other is electric). The air fitting is fed by the air tanks (brakes and air bags). I have one on each side and they are not associated with the hydraulic pump in any way except that the fitting is located in the same compartment.
