DP Muffler

I changed my muffler with the stock replacement from Spartan Chassis (www.rvchassisparts.com) last Spring. It was approximately $225.00. In doing a quick check online, the Aero Exhaust AT5050XL Diesel Muffler is typically selling for approximately $135.00. Certainly quite a bit less expensive. However, just be aware that the aftermarket replacement would have to be of the same size (diameter) and length in order to fit the metal hanger straps and also to maintain the proper length position so that the exhaust tip will still come out of the back at the correct length. If not, you'll have to do some extra fabrication to get it to fit correctly. Certainly not impossible, but by the time you're done, it may not be worth the savings. Just some things to consider.
