Hi All.
Great Job there Fred. A very good write up and picturess. Should be of great help to other Motorhome Owners who might like top try this Repair themselfs.
"Congrats" on a Job Well Done. Doesn't it feel great, knowing that you did it yourself, for a much, much cheaper price.
Your Fix, might even last longer than some of the so called Pros who do these.
I have also done all of my own "Fixes", "Repairs", and "Replacements" and "Mods" myself for over 45+ years as RV'ers. I haven't found anything so far, that I have found to be that hard to "Fix", "Repair", or to "Replace" myself.
Its nice to know is done right the first time, everytime, and really helps in keeping the cost of ownership of Motorhomes to a Minamun.
We hope your "Window Job", will last for many, many years to come. At least you know you can always re-do it again in the future.
