Dumb mistakes
Ok everbody fess up what was your dumbest RV Mistakes! I haven't made any I walk on water like everyone else claims to do.

First time taking out our new to us motorhome I was trying to decide whether we would take the toad on the inaugural trip. Shouldn't be a problem. Hooked it up and off we went. Traveled about 10 miles to the interstate. As I sat at the light waiting to make a left onto the entrance ramp I glanced into the rear camera screen and the toad was gone. All I could imagine was it veering off into a field or worse yet into oncoming traffic. My heart raced...then I realize my new motorhome had 3 cameras and because I had the turn signal on it had switched to the side camera. It was only a split second before I realized what was going on, but it was long enough to take 10 years off my life. I told my DW what had happened and she couldn't stop laughing for the next hour and a half. She still has a good laugh about it every once in a while. Geesh!
I did the exact same thing soon after we purchased our MH. I was pulling a golf cart on a trailer and after making a left turn pulling out of the campground I thought I had lost it.
