Dumping Holding Tanks
I took my 2008 Roadtrek 19P to the dealer yesterday to have the macerator sewer hose replaced.
I believe there is liquid in both holding tanks that I had not emptied since our last trip.
I went to the dumping station and activated the pump but the hose remained dry. If it was just the black water tank, I would consider that it might be an obstruction, however the gray water tank would not empty either.
I placed a stick down the toilet and into the tank. The stick did not go far enough to measure what is in the tank. Seems the shape of the tank prevents that.
The monitor inside shows approximately 3/4 full, although I never believed them to be accurate. I don't believe there is that much in the tanks.
Since I am in the process of winterizing, I am concerned that I might leave liquid in the holding tank that will freeze over the winter.
Any suggestions as to what I should look for to correct the problem. Don't want to go to the dealer at $118.00 per hour to check it out unless I have to.
