E350 Class C Major Problems

I have a Forest River 2300 2012 on a Ford E350 V10 gas engine chasis.

I have only 35,000 miles of freeway driving and I need to replace the engine. And last month I need repairs on the front end suspension.

It is less than one month out of warranty and Ford refuses to even consider helping with with this repair.

An engine needs replacement after 35,000 miles and Ford is not even embarrassed by this. Their response to me was basically "sucks to be you".

Obviously Ford no longer cares. Never again a Ford. Never
  • Something is not right. Those engines are renown for their service and dependability. Get a second opinion.

Those engines are famous for being bulletproof, is my understanding. Maybe someone here can recommend a good mechanic where you are, for that second opinion?
  • Yes, get a second opinion.
Why does the engine need to be replaced?
Unless it was run out of oil or out of coolant, no engine should need to be replaced at 35,000 miles.
  • While not helping much I recommend going to a non dealership mechanic. The engine likely only needs a part changed such as a bearing or piston rings. Dealerships love to replace entire items when simply changing part of a item will fix the problem.

In your case why did they say the entire engine needed replacing? Short of severe overheating or catastrophic mechanical failure I can't think of something that would wipe out a engine.
