Electric issue

I have a 97 Fleetwood Bounder. I cannot get the Refrigerator to cycle to AC, and the air conditioners will not come on when I am plugged in to shore power. When I run the generator, the air works, but the refrigerator stays on gas. Also the heater wants to run even though it is not on. I have an Intellitec Master Control unit 00-00591-200. When I start the generator, I hear the transfer switch click. Any ideas?
  • It's dinner so that's why you've not gotten answers. But I finished, and Rick & Morty is a rerun so...

First thing I'd check is the power post. Measure it with a DVM. You have one, right? A '97 could be either a 30 Amp or 50 Amp. It would help if you would tell us which. My '94 Bounder was a 30 amp and if I had the problem you have, I'd check the transfer switch. Sounds like there's a bad connection at the power post (RV park issue) or in your power head. Or in the connection box in the RV power bay, a bad connection right at the transfer switch, or a bad transfer switch.

Whew. Lot's to check, but start at the parks power post.
