Electric Step Cover

I remember that well as I could not get all out the door either..I had to take the wood panel off the mechanism by unscrewing the wood panel itself off...then get track to work and seat track, then rescrew on the wood panel...Cumbersome yes, impossible no.

I have done all of the above but is there a trick to taking out the entire package to examine all the connections etc. as it is now it will not fit through the door.

Get the cover to the out position..then look under it..you will see screws holding the entire mechanism to the frame..Undo screws....the entire track and motor will come out together..had this happen with my HR endeavor when I had it..the cover has to be extended to get to the screws just above that second stair.
