Electric steps only retract with ignition turned on

I checked the alignment, they are still right next to each other. I even tried a magnet from the kitchen in replacement of the one on the door to see if that could be the problem - didn't do anything.


If the Magnet was the problem the step would NOT retract with Ign ON. Doug
