It was 7.10ish to 1 of the wires coming to the switch the other wire coming to the switch was 0.00
So the white wire at the plug is basically the same as the wire going into the switch, hence they are connected. So looking at the diagram in the PDF - power comes off the chassis batter to the switch, through the switch and down to the plug. If the switch is on, you get a reading at the plug. If it's turned off, no reading at the plug.
So I need to figure out where the power is coming from, I don't think it's straight from the battery, there is only 1 thin wire coming off the chassis battery and a bunch of grounds.
