Either your magnets are misaligned or you have a loose ground wire in your circuit. Both are easy to check....look closely at your door frame and you'll see where the magnets are attached. You can bypass this by using a small magnet from a craft store such as Michaels, JoAnns or Home Depot. If that's not your problem, follow all the wires from the motor to the solenoid and check for a loose ground....Dennis
