The 110vac receptacle in our garage that we plugged RV cable into was wired incorrectly, an electrician friend reconnected wires properly and no more tingles.

Been there, done that. Check wiring at the AC power source in this situation first, then work your way to the RV. It is usually the source. These are wonderful little devices. You can leave it plugged into a wall outlet and you will know immediately if you have issues. Just keep one in the RV all the time.

Get an outlet tester. Use it on the supply, then use it in the RV. If all is good plug into a GFI outlet. Post the results.

You're lucky you were just checking the tire pressure.. I found mine had a bad ground when I was replacing the step motor. Good thing I have some insulation. It was showing 4-6 volts across the ground. I'd advise combing over everything electrical for any wires rubbing on the frame etc.

It is a dangerous situation. Get it fixed immediately. You could even get shocked getting in and out of your rig.

First check the pedestal or house wiring for an open ground or a revesed cable at the socket, then check the cable to the rv if 30Amp or 50Amp make shure that the correct wire code is followed to connect the cables to the rv, then check the power converter also for wiring connections.

When you get shocked or a tingling sensation goes through your body is meas that you are now a ground for a stray current, you are lucky that you are still alive.

If you are not comffortable with electrical systems, have an cualified electrician check the rv, some one that also undersatands not only Alternating Current but also Direct Current "AC & DC" current and voltage.

Open ground in adapter.
Do not use a three to two wire adapter! The little grey peice of debris used to plug into old two prong receptacle. adapterMake sure receptacle has a ground.
