Emergancy Brake Cable

I have a 1985 Fleetwood Southwind with a Transbrake mounted Emergency brake I can not find a cable for her anyplace ,,GM its obsolete parts stores huh whats that they ask

  • Find a good commercial truck repair shop in a larger city such as Springfield. They will figure it out.
    Perusing the truck repaiir places in Springfield I would call

    And talk to the parts manager
  • Perhaps they could make up a cable with an adjustable length with a movable end.
    If they can't do that maybe you can run a piece of wire along the path that the cable takes to get a length.
  • the cable is cut at both ends so got nothing to really go by, for the length its unknown . Gm doesn't even have a part number anymore or even a picture with measurements
  • If it is just a simple cable, there are places that can make a replacement if you have the ends and can supply them the specs. If they are standard ends, then all they need is the length to fabricate one.
