Enough Power?
Looking to buy my first RV; question for those of you with experience. Does a Ford V10 have enough power for a 35 footer in mountain driving?

Yep, the V10 is a high revving engine and is not a speed demon. A slight uphill grade will make it downshift and scream like it's coming apart to maintain your speed. You won't win any races to the top of the hill unless you're racing a bicycle, but you'll get there safely and within a few minutes of the other guys. We just got back from a 500 mile round-trip towing an enclosed trailer with a Harley Roadking in it and other than a blown tire, the coach and engine did great. And got 9MPG to boot!! And I can change the oil in it myself for under $40. Try THAT with a DP..... ;-) (Just pushin' yer buttons, diesel owners...actually I'm jealous... LOL!)
