I was looking at the 2014 Essex & saw where the exhaust for the Aqua Hot is under the bedroom window on the curbside, I own a 2005 Dynasty & the exhaust was under the bedroom window on the roadside & a couple of years ago the Feds made Monaco recall these MH & reroute the exhaust to the curb side to get it away from the bedroom window.
Has anyone heard of Essex being able to reroute the exhaust to the roadside?
Also, all you Essex owners, are you happy with your coach?
I looked at the 2014 Newmar King Air and noticed that the Aqua Hot exhaust was really hanging lower than it should. The exit should be close to the front of the drive axle, not in the middle of the coach. It looked like to me that it would be easy to damage it if there was a crest in the road or driveway, etc.
Of course the best exit is out the roof like on the Prevost coaches, Newell, etc. All and all, the wind direction will change everything no matter where it exits. If the windows are closed, there should be no problem.
We generally (really never) don't run the genny or AH diesel while sleeping. We'll just use our little electric heater so no fumes from anything. We'll use the electric feature for hot water.
Our AH system has the two stage electric element and if it's not too cold (40's OK), we can heat the coach from the electric side of the AH.
