We are looking at purchasing another 2 years of extended warranty (100 deductable) for our 2006 37ft Pace Arrow. We are currently with ExtraRide, which has been good and treated us well, however being full timers, we need to save where ever we can. In our research, we did find a policy that was less than ExtraRide. It's a policy under Protrek through Wholesale.warranty.com, but never heard of them. Anyone out there have any experience with them? Also, Good Sams was the most expensive of all of them, almost twice as much as ExtraRide????? I know that you get what you pay for, but would appreciate feedback, experiences, etc...Thank you!

I would put your money in the bank and pay for your own repairs. I have never had an extended warranty and am money way ahead.

I'm not sure you can renew your policy with ExtraRide. I believe they are now only sold through dealers. WW is a good company to deal with and Jeff Shelton will do whatever he can to help if there's a problem. My first policy was with Prizm, and I'm now with Allegiance, sold through WW. I wouldn't be without one. Remember, full timers look at insurance different than those that use their RV for occasional camping only...good idea to have the extra insurance. Mine has paid for itself already.....Dennis

Prices are all over the board because what is covered is all over the board, and very few vendors let you have a copy of the contract before you purchase so you can take it to a lawyer who is also a mechanic to tell you what it really says.I think the ESP from Good Sams is pretty straightforward. I've been offered service contracts/insurance that costs more and supposedly covers more, and others that cost less and cover as much or more, but I also see a lot of "outs" in lower cost policies.

I do not contact GS directly. My service person does and to date I have not been refused any claim. I am not suggesting anyone buy a warrantly plan, any plan. I am just stating my experience. Good luck to all no matter what plan they use. Happy Holidays and Merry Chirstmas.

ESP from Good Sam is the worst policy available. Do some Googling and read the results. Their operators are trained to always say you are not covered. If you put up a fight all will be good. If you do not complain they refuse coverage.

I have been using GS plan for some time now and very pleased. I have yet to have one item rejected. I am presently having refig repaired, jack replaced,ac fixed. and my cost is the deductable. If you present your request properly you will have no problem getting items fixed under warranty.

They did the same for me. Makes it easier to decided when you know what's covered or excluded.

Exactly, since we aren't that handy ourselves, we like having that piece of mind.
