F53 Chassis Lean

Our 2018 Jayco Alante has got a leaning problem to the curb side... When it's on perfectly level ground, there is a noticeable list and we often have issues with the automatic steps jamming into the ground when we park anywhere on uneven terrain. Taking it back to the dealer has proven pointless, as they can't seem to find any sort of manufacturer reference or tolerance for allowable lean, and hang their hat on the fact that it drives down the road just fine and isn't wearing the tires unevenly. Has anyone dealt with a lean issue? And no, it's not just overly loaded on the curb side, it's done this since new last season whether we are loaded or not, and individual corner weights are within a couple hundred pounds so that's not it.
  • Have you tried calling the Ford Motorhome Assistance Center? The number should be in your chassis owner's manual - not sure if that would be covered under your 3 year warranty or not but they can refer you (and even make an appointment) at a dealer willing to take a look at your problem.
  • My guess would be the way it's built. Not sure what your floorplan is but it's probably very heavy on that side. Was it something you noticed on the test drive? We had a MH once with a full wall slide and the refer etc was in it and it would list ever so slightly to that side. Made sense as all the weight was on that side.
  • as state springs, or way to much weight on that side. You are measuring the frame not the body the builder put on.
  • I would start checking all your springs and hardware something is off for sure. Check at you leaf springs maybe a broken leaf or 2 could cause it also.
