Feedback on 2015 Winnebago Vista 35F
We are in the process of moving up from a Class C with bunks to a Class A. This will be our 2nd RV and we are still pretty new to RVing and certainly new to buying an RV. I've seen great feedback on this forum and thought I'd see if you could help us out.
We have 2 boys that are about to completely outgrow the bunks in our current Greyhawk 31FS bunk model. My DH usually does the driving but recently we have started meeting up so we have a car and the rig. So -- it is a high priority that I can make the drive solo in the RV with kids and dog.
Any feedback on the Vista particularly on handling and storage. My priority is a rig that I can handle solo and that does not result in driving fatigue. Our current rig makes it difficult to keep my heel on the floor when putting the gas down. I noticed on this year's model that the radio is centered and seemed a bit hard to see. Is this just a settings issue or have other had any issues with the radio and/or console configuration?
Our other priority is being able to have 2 growing boys have comfortable sleeping - so the drop down bunk on the Class A is of interest with a couch that is at least 75" long. Love the l shaped couch. Plenty of room to hang as family or let a teenager take a nap. My 11 year old is a little nervous about sleeping on the bunk thinking he might roll off. Anyone come up with a way of providing a bumper?
I love the idea of a larger refrig -- but it does not seem to have a pantry or a pan drawer. Have you been happy with the storage available inside and your ability to use it?
