I agree with an earlier poster, cut a small piece of eternabond for each and be done with it, after all, it is on the roof! This solution is both quick and dirty and will make you proud for years to come with no leaks. And best of all you can undo it if you want, not easy but definitely doable.I agree and stand by my post.
Oh, and if there is a larger hole I agree with the above to cut a small piece of aluminum to cover first for support but then I would simply cover everything with one piece of eternabond.

I agree and stand by my post. The "right" repair and the options available are open to discussion. Opinions are not facts and options are open to the op. If he feels a ten minute repair suits his purposes, fine. If he chooses aesthetic restoration, also fine.
