People are trying to give you 2 options. The quick and dirty, "old Oky" fix, and the one you can be proud of. If you removed a sat dish, there is more than just 2, 1/4" holes. There should be a rather large round one for the operating mechanism to operate from the inside. Unless you go with the good fix, I would be inclined to cut an aluminum cover, and bolt it over the existing mounting hole, using butyl rubber caulk to seal the under side. This would look acceptable, and still allow someone to mount a new dish antenna at a later date.
I agree with an earlier poster, cut a small piece of eternabond for each and be done with it, after all, it is on the roof! This solution is both quick and dirty and will make you proud for years to come with no leaks. And best of all you can undo it if you want, not easy but definitely doable.I agree and stand by my post.
Oh, and if there is a larger hole I agree with the above to cut a small piece of aluminum to cover first for support but then I would simply cover everything with one piece of eternabond.
