Just to let everyone know what happened: I found a fuse that turns on and off with the ignition and used the fuse splitter to tap into it. The power works perfectly. Thanks for the suggestion!
In regards to the EEZRV TPMS system I bought, it works fairly well. Two complaints, really. First, the mount is increadibly loose where it attached to the monitor. It works, but it doesn't hold the monitor well at all, the monitor just kind of sites there and rests on it. I contacted EEZRV and they didn't see the problem with that and suggested that I use some velcro to install it more firmly (????).
The unit itself works well and is easy to set up. It sometimes doesn't pick up the TPMS unit on the wheel that's furthest from it. So, I'm not sure it'd do real well if I was pulling a trailer and wanted to monitor those tires. I might try installing the external antenna for the monitor to see if that'll fix it.
Thanks.
