Finding propane!!!

We are full time and are heading north thru Santa Fe. Every gas station we go to only has the propane exchange tanks. Can’t find the big tank so they can fill us. Gas buddy shows if a station has propane but doesn’t specify what kind of propane they have.

How do you guys find propane when you are in a strange place?

    I use the allstays app. It shows basically everything RV related. Tap the LP icon and it gives you an address and phone number. Call to see if they can fill your tank. Tap directions and it brings up google maps.

    Instead of gas stations, search for propane gas distribution companies. Also, Camping World and often the large U-Haul dealers (the ones with storage facilities) have propane.
