Never gave much thought to what other RVers are carrying within their RVs whether legal or illegal, as long as they don't flaunt it I could care less.
We prefer boondocking in isolated areas, but also do a fair amount of major city RVing and carry appropriate measures to deal with the surrounding wildlife should they attempt to impinge on our living space.
Only reason of concern for us is if we are planning on entering Mexico or Canada, otherwise what we carry onboard is what we need to RV the way we want to whether it's uses are implemented frequently or sparingly.
