It's difficult to try to deal with all of the things to see/do/learn in this state. Most of the time, you just cut it back by concentrating on a smaller area geographically. However, another way of doing so is to concentrate in a different way. Suppose, for instance, that you concentrate on Native American, of which there's enough to keep you busy for many, many weeks. Or how about on geology, say, volcanic landscapes, again, a ton of it available. Or on our old Hispanic heritage, again, tons and tons. Or on wildlife or on 20th century stuff like Route 66 or on 19th century tragedies (e.g., Navajo Trail of Tears) or on our rich mining history and our hundreds of ghost towns ...
The world's a drawing board for tourists, too!
