Wow, some are very defensive of curtains! In any event, what I decided to try was taking some leftover Reflectix and cutting to fit by compression the front windows. However, I bought some gray fabric in a similar shade as the tint on the windows because I don't want shiny Reflectix facing the street. I'm going to staple the fabric to the Reflectix so it faces the street side. If it works, it will be a simple, effective, and inexpensive solution.
If it doesn't, I'll have enough leftover material to figure out some other way of attaching it as a curtain or panel. It's a slate gray, lined upholstery material which is completely light blocking. Found it on the remnant bin for $5 a yard so I bought two yards.
