- Tom_in_TulsaExplorerI was told a transmission fluid pump can be added to a Hyundai so it could be flat towed. Has anybody had any success with that?

Always check owners manual, it will tell you if the vehicle can be towed.
But the manual won't tell you if the vehicle can be modified to be towable. Remco is a very good source for "as is", "as modified", and "no way", 4-down towing information.
We have a 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and use a tow dolly based on owners manual info.
Couldn't find info on Remco site regarding above. Do you have a specific link/reference?
----never mind. found Remco info. tow dolly only as per manual and the way we are doing it! - Dutch_12078Explorer II

Be very careful..Not all tell the truth..Most say the Jeep Cherokee can be towed all for down. NOT TRUE The Grand Cherokee with the tow option is a must. FYI Friends bought a Cherokee (not grand) and were told they could tow. $4k later with adaptions made they can tow now. - AvaExplorerAlways check owners manual, it will tell you if the vehicle can be towed.
- Dutch_12078Explorer IIAccording to Remco Towing, The Sonota and Tucson FWD must be dolly towed, and the Tucson AWD must be trailered.
