Fleetwood Bounder Classic 34B

We are interested in upgrading from a TT to a Fleetwood Bounder Classic 34B. Any reviews or opinions on this model would be greatly appreciated. Sticking with gas as a DP is out of our price range for a new class A. Thanks in advance for all input.

We have the 14 Bounder Classic 34B, and we love it! We have used it 37 nights this year already, and plan to do more with it this fall.

Pros: love the floor plan, king size bed, fridge is decent size.

Cons: driving is a bit wild with the wind, shift points on the motor drive me nuts (especially with cruise on), only the bunks have good entertainment during travel, as everything else is hidden or run by 110V.

We love ours, and hope to put many miles over the years with it.

Wheelbase seems a little short, could this attribute to the wildness when driving? Have you tried the CHF?

Looks like the bedroom has a TV that could be used in transit even if you run the gen.

    Nice looking unit.

  • There are many happy Bounder owners and many happy Ford chassis owners. Your results will probably depend on how the current owner took care of it. Service records would be a good place to get some info.
  • We have a 2013 bounder classic 36 and we love it.It handles good but we live in Wy. and the wind is always a problem. We just installed roadmaster front and rear antisway bars and a steering stabilizer and made a huge difference.
  • How about the ride of the coach? Looking at the wheelbase, it looks like there is a lot hanging off the rear. Anyone know how well it handles?
