- CookiemanExplorerI have 2001 Bounder model 39z diesel pusher. Dash does not need to be removed.lower half of ductwork that houses evaporator comes out. The leak was actually the pressure switch next to evaporator.. Mechanic removed evaporator housing in 20 min. Pictures available if needed.
- Navychaps1ExplorerI was wondering the same thing for a Winnebago Adventurer, 2003.
- Big_KatunaExplorer IIOn my 05 Fleetwood Expedition, you take the defroster vents off, take out the screws hiding under button covers then the entire dash top comes off. We had to replace the thermostat in the evaporater a few years back. Denso has schematics and wiring diagrams on their website. Fleetwood sent me mine.

Hi Big Katuna , I have the same RV and need to replace the evaporator which will require removing the entire assembly , can that be done by just removing the dash top or will I have to remove the whole dash. Thanks pjs25
