I think you are finding the single pane windows on the lower cost MHs. They do cost more initially. SEGI was the company that made the most troublesome windows. Once you have the dual pane you will not want to go back. The soundproofing and temperature insulation make it worth a potential problem. Mine are 11 years old this year and never a problem but they are not SEGI.
