Does the build quality vary from year to year? - Mile_HighExplorer

- TrackrigExplorer IIWe have a 2005 Fleetwood Excursion 39S. I think it's a very good DP. If you're looking at the Discovery, then also look at the Excursion, especially if you're a tall person. The Excursion is basically an upgraded version of the Discovery, to include the ceiling being higher by about 10" and little more horse power. I haven't measured them. An Uncle has the 2005 Discover and we have the 2005 Excursion.
Ask me if you have specific questions.
Bill - tinkererExplorerI have had a 2007 since 2008. In my humble opinion it's a decent motor home for the money. We love the full slide. It's not top of the line but not the bottom of the barrel. I have noticed a lot of the components are the same as the higher end coaches. It seems in the years we owned it that we have had more issues with the Freighliner chassis than the coach itself. I always maintain the worst motor home you can buy is one you can't afford. This coach fit our budget.;)
