Already been said but what the heck, torque is everything.
As my signature says, I've got the 2014 and its 300hp too. Based in the northwest, I can assure you it does mountain passes very well and with the gas bags and rear engine, quiet, smooth ride are definitely the words to describe the experience. Um, not to mention some darn good mpg even with the toad.
