Flying Jays going Down Hill since Pilot took over

We are on the Road and stopped at a Jays in Virginia at 5.00 pm and a service truck backed in and blocked the rv pumps .Went in to pay and asked to speak to the manger and she asked them to move so we could get out . They where pissed off at us when we did nothing wrong .It seems things have gone down hill in the last few years. Is it just me or do others see the same thing since Pilot took over. If this was late at night or early in the morning it would not be so bad but to block your lanes in prime time does not make sence .

why is a truck blocking the RV pumps the fault of flying j? the mgr asked the driver to move. personally, I think things have gotten better since the merger but to each their own.
  • That's sort of like cutting grass or cleaning bathrooms at the campground - there's never a good time, somebody will always be inconvenienced. Having said that, I also preferred the 'old' Flying J and the local buffet instead of the new Pilot and Denny's. Seems like the diesel was cheaper than nearby stations then also.
