I've yet to find a Flying J where the RV lanes are set up to accommodate my coach at 43ft. It takes just a bit common sense to see that those laves are set up for Class C's, shorter gassers, or Pickup/5th wheel combos. Larger DP's need to go through the Truck Island or risk damage in the RV island.
I have a full timer friend with a 42' coach towing a Chevy Silverado Crew Cab pickup. He uses the RV lanes 90% of the time so he can pay with his PenFed rewards card. The other 10% of the time when the RV lanes are just too tight to get into, he uses the truck pumps and pays with his RV Plus card. Never has to go inside. The card starts the pump, when he's done fueling he writes down the gallons and $ amount and then drives away. He can view the details of his RV Plus transactions online, and are also on his monthly statement.
