It appears that I may have opened a "can of worms" with the FJ & Pilot RV fuel situation.
I recognize the fact that the majority of coaches on the road are diesel, and are, in most cases, able to fuel in truck lanes, although trucks should have top priority.
I do, however, feel we will continue to have problems with the gas pump problems at the RV fuel areas.
Filling propane tanks can and do cause problems do to the location of the fueling station. With peak travel times,we have to make a choice to wait, or try to fuel at the auto pumps, or leave.
I will continue to take advantage of the discount FJ & Pilot gives us, but the franchize must also be made aware of the fact that although gas coaches may be in the minority, pull behinds, both 5th wheels , and TT's need to use thse same pumps.and most of them are also very long which means that the lines are very long.
Changing the way to pull out at the Pilot stations would be of big help.
I am on my way to FJ as we speak and as frustrated as it may be to wait, I am patronizing them and will continue to, as well as grumble about sometimes having to wait.
