moon style covers will help with the milage a little, but you would need at all corners. Best I can think of is like the big trucks have on the axels which are small hub caps that cover the axle nuts. I he=ave read articles about using the full moon style covers but dont really know where anyone would find them. The fancy lug caps are also a drag and have effect on the mpg's per the same article. closing the radiator off and making air dams for the front also helped as did full length running boards. This was on a diesel averaging about 17 mpg and with the changes it eventually got up to about 21-22 @ 55mph! Dont know many travelers who drive that slow WITHOUT ac on or with windows up and tight! Watch for along the roadways as you drive, there are always lost wheel covers (chrome simulators) laying out there. Saw a nice one on the way to phoenix a week or 2 ago!
