Ford E450 5R110W trans...trans pan mod...who's done it?

If the late style filter can be incorporated in the earlier transmission, buy a deep aluminum pan for the later internal filter model, and the pieces needed to convert to the internal filter and have at it. The deep aluminum pan will give you about a gallon more capacity, for cooler operation, and the pan will aid in cooling also.
