Ford E450 swivel seats
Greetings!
some time ago I asked if any class C Ford based RV's had a good experience installing a passenger side swivel seat base. Got a couple answers from Chevy owners that they installed swivel seats and were happy with the mod. A couple Ford owners doubted it could be done, not enough clearance. Well I went ahead and got a passenger side swivel from SHOP4SEATS and it works fine. The RV in question is a 2006 Carri-GO, A division of Dyna-Maz, the chassis is a 2005 Ford E450 and installation was a half hour job. You need a metric torq socket for the front two base to frame fasteners, other than that common tools on hand will do the job.
The actual swivel is a two step process that takes about 10 seconds. The seat back must be levered full forward towards the dash. The seat travel must also be adjusted forward to the dash then the seat will swivel part way. Move the seat travel to the rear a couple inches and finish the swivel.
