Yes, I currently have the same problem, or a similar problem. The usual problem is the seal on the parking brake assembly starts to leak. Where it really goes bad is when you let it leak out and still drive on it like the PO of ours did. It gets insanely hot and deforms the splines on the output shaft from the transmission. At that point, the only way you are going to get it off is to cut the output shaft. That puts a transmission rebuild into the cost of replacing the E Brake assembly.
In my case, I am a tiny bit lucky in that the fluid leak is on the opposite side from the drum. Instead of $4,000.00 I just add a couple of ounces of ATF before I drive it.
If you do a search, it is something of a problem with just about all of the F-53's.
Turn the Caps Lock off man, it makes it harder for most people to read what you are writing.
