Ford F-Super Duty Truck manual

A good repair manual is always nice to have on hand. My 1994 33' Holiday Rambler with a Ford F-Super Duty chassis and 460 FI V8 runs and drives well, it's few current needs are pretty obvious (such as shocks) still it's nice to have good repair manual handy, if for no other reason than to possibly save time, money and steps when embarking on unaccustomed repairs. Can anyone recommend any good general F-Super Duty engine/drivetrain/chassis manuals for my vintage RV? Now this is important, if you recommend a manual, it'll help a lot if I have an exact name as well as an authors name if possible, since I'll be looking it up on abebooks.com or amazon.com and their computer search engines aren't all that imaginative as far as deciphering incorrect input.

Thanks in advance for any and all recommendations.

EDIT: Thanks to Captain_Happy I stand corrected and have edited this post accordingly Thanks CH!

Steve

PS earlier books I purchased on board recommendations have been very useful. Thank you.

  • I ended up purchasing a Chilton's Manual #8136, Ford Full Size Trucks 1987-1993. According to the cover, it covers all US and Canadian models of F-150, F-250, F-350 and F-Super Duty Pick-Ups, Bronco, Chassis Cab, Commercial Chassis and Motorhome Chassis. I bought it used through http://www.abebooks.com/
    I hope this helps.

  • I have the 1995 Ford Motorhome Chassis Service Guide manual that includes the F53 & Class C. Part# FCS-12214-95.
This manual doesn't have anything on engine, transmission or rear end tear down.

Also the 1995 F53 Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual Part# FCS-12260-95

I'm sure they are out of print but were originally available from Ford @ 1-800-782-4356 Your model year would be very similar.

You may be able to find used manuals on the internet Good Luck.

Just one problem. The F-53 chassic didn't come out until 1999.

That's going to come as a big surprise to my '97 F-53
  • The F 53 chassis has been around since at least the early 90's. In the late 90's they added the V10. I have had a 94 and 96 Bounder on a F 53 chassis.
