Jim,
Also have a 99 F53 chassis..
My first addition was the steer safe. (Then added a tracbar from Brazil's)
100psi sounds pretty high. You sure that's correct?
Tires are rated at 120psi, I only put 100 in them because we travel pretty light. Should I run less psi?
What size tires do you have?
Mine are the 19.5's (I think 95psi listed on sidewall?)
After getting the rig weighed, I found I could run them much less (low 80's if I remember correct).
I run them at about 93 rear & 88 front, but I like to run all my vehicles with more psi for a stiffer ride.
These F53's are fun finding that combo of add-ons and tire pressure to get the best handling.
But... Remember it's still a truck chassis! It'll never ride like a Caddy. - JimMartinExplorer

The first thing I did was have a front panhard bar and steering stabilizer. That took care of wandering but the wind induced tail wag remained. After installation of a rear panhard bar, most of the tail wag was handled.

Looking to reduce the steering wheel pull from right to left when hitting potholes or bumps in the road. - 427435ExplorerHave you had the front end aligned and been sure the caster was set at 4+ degrees. My MH "wondered" around until I did that. Drives fine with no added band-aids.
- wolfe10ExplorerTopflite51,
A valid observation. But, there is quite some overlap in their affect on driving.
Both help reduce rut tracking, vague steering, sensitivity to cross winds, etc.
By not fitting a Panhard rod on the F53 until 2005, Ford allowed a complete cottage industry to fill the void.
But, many view a steering stabilizer as more a band-aid (a cure after the fact), the Panhard rod more as a preventive.
That is not to suggest that a steering stabilizer does not perform a desirable function, but on that chassis, it would not be the first thing to add.
If the OP tells us what changes he has already made to the chassis or gives a more detailed explanation of what he wants to correct/improve it might change our recommendations. - topflite51ExplorerTrac bars and steering stabilizers DO NOT perform the same function, since the OP asked specifically about steering stabilizer's, why not answer his question.
- fortyfordExplorerx2 on the pan hard bar. I have same chassis 1999 f53 pace arrow vision. I used davis tru trac bar and had front end lined up. Lord what a difference. Took the steer safe off. I can actually drive one handed now and sip a coffee if I want too.
Bob - wolfe10ExplorerFIRST thing to add to that chassis is a front Pahnard rod (aka track bar).
Later F53 chassis had them as original equipment.
