Bobphoenix those wires look kind of heavy for the cruise control kick off. To check and see if your cruise control kick off wires are attached or not you will have to find the sender unit. On mine it was out of sight behind the intake tube for the air cleaner on the fire wall.
What I did was one at a time follow a brake line from the master cylinder down the fire wall. The kickoff switch on mine is a pressure switch used in line in a "T" fitting with 2 wire elec. connection on top. Once you find this switch you can see if it's connected or not
If not see if you can find the connector. I got tired of the run around of the fix being on back order ( plus the first fix they put the fuse in the wrong line, and had to do another recall ) So I took the connector off found the hot line and installed an in-line 1 amp fuse.
If those are the kick off wires one will be hot all the time even with the ignition off and key out.
