Yes it can be done, not saying one should not but does leave little as to towing, the 3 valve V-10 by Ford says it can handle up to 30,000 lbs but I think that is just to much as far as I am concerned, when going up the large hills I would think at 30,000 lbs you are just over working the motor, I prefer to keep it under 27000 lbs if possible {motorhome and toad} than the motor will work for years to come.
