Keep in mind some people are discussing 2 different chassis. Yes they're all called F53, but there are many versions. A 16k F53 won't be the same as a 26k F53.
Also some are discussing older versions of the F53, not the newest upgraded F53. Those with the newest MHs will have more accurate information than those with the older ones. And not only has the chassis changed, even the engine specs have changed. The newer V10s are rated at a lower HP, yet torque is up. Torque is what you need in MH duty.
IMO it would be in your best interest to do an extended test drive. The suggestion of hitting the scales was also good advice.
